Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS)

This is a legal requirement – Know your commitment as the Owner or Occupier of your building. We can ensure your compliance every year.
Or call us on02 4630 9407

The law requires that every Class of business premises (BCA Classes 2-9) complete an AFSS every year and inform the Fire Brigade and Local Council that the Fire Safety Measures installed within their building are meeting the criteria that they were originally designed to do.

Once the annual tests and maintenance have been carried out, an Inspection of the systems, their condition and their interaction with other systems must be verified. This is done by an ‘Accredited Practitioner Fire Safety’ (APFS) carrying out an audit inspection of the systems and their maintenance/test regime. The APFS will only be able to verify those Fire Safety Measures (FSM) that they are qualified to assess. At Firefront we are qualified to access all thirty seven (37) of these inspections because we hold an UNRESTRICTED LICENCE in this respect.
